A few days ago Rob was describing the thrashing and I mean THRASHING we got thanks to a brutal headwind…
Well today Mother Nature said I’m going to align EVERYTHING for these cyclists and give them a day to remember. And did she ever …
Our goal today was to ride 111 miles, from Napoleon, ND to Enderlin, ND. (Try and find those two towns on a map!) Our longest day yet and a lot of saddle time under the best of circumstances. Well thanks to a ripping tail wind, mostly flat roads and very little traffic, we were able to crank out 111 miles in just over 5 hours. We hit the 100 mile century mark at 4:44. Woo Hoo!!! We decided that was most definitely worthy of a champagne celebration!
Tomorrow, on to Fargo….oh yeah, don’t ‘cha know Marge…
Can’t think of a better way to celebrate your terrific day! You deserved it. You are all awesome!
